The Isle of Palms has quickly become an island of golf carts, which locals use for everything from grocery runs to beach trips. The annual “Isle of Palms Community 4th of July Golf Cart Parade” is a beloved tradition that’s been around for over 30 years. In 2023, organizers announced they might see 500 decorated golf carts participating!
The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. from the corner of 4th Avenue and Charleston Boulevard, traveling through a designated route towards Breach Inlet. Staging begins at 9:00 a.m. at Carolina Boulevard and 2nd Avenue. Whether you’re participating or spectating, it’s a fantastic display of community pride and patriotism.
